Approved Central Services Technical Course Instructor
Ms. Ignacio has over 30 years experience in healthcare
with a particular emphasis in the area of Central
Sterile Processing and Laundry/Linen. She has
served as Central Processing Manager of a 13 entity
consolidated Healthcare system where she managed
five Central Sterile Processing departments. She
has served a dual role at ISH, both in Interim
Management and in Assessment and Business Process
Redesign roles. She has extensive experience in
training staff in Central Sterile Best Practices,
and has experience in both the OR, PACU and Emergency
departments. Frances is a Licensed Practical Nurse,
and is certified in Central Service Materials
Management concepts through the International
Association of Hospital Central Service Materials
Management. (IAHCSMM). She is a member of the
American Society for Hospital Central Service
Professionals, the Missouri Association for Hospital
Central Service Personnel, where she twice served
as President. She is an IAHCSMM Approved Central
Services Technical Course Instructor. |

C. Conroy |

Senior Consultant, Clinical Services
Approved Central Services Technical Course Instructor
Ms. Conroy has over twenty-five years experience
in Healthcare with a special emphasis in the area
of Central Sterile Processing. Her hands-on knowledge
of Central Sterile and Materials Management within
hospital systems has provided her with the expertise
to analyze processes within these environments,
and to recommend and implement best practices.
Ms. Conroy additionally brings superior management
and administration skills, extensive experience
in education and training and the ability to communicate
across organizational levels and departments.
Ms. Conroy understands the role of Instrument
Asset Management in overall improved efficiencies
within the Supply Chain. She is a Certified Sterile
Processing Distribution Technician and a Certified
Sterile Processing Distribution Manager through
the Certification Board. She holds a BS degree
in Healthcare Administration from St. Joseph College
in North Windam, Maine, and a Nursing Diploma
from Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing
in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is a member of the American
Society for Healthcare Central Service Professionals,
and the American Operating Room Nurses Association.

“Duke” Ellington |

Approved Central Services Technical Course Instructor
Mr. Ellington has over 30 years experience in
Central Sterile Processing, Laundry and Linen
Services, Purchasing, and Automated Information
Systems. He was the first hospital professional
in the nation to utilize bar code technology for
tracing issues of medical supply items. Serving
in numerous Interim Management roles for major
hospital systems, he has extensive experience
training staff in both Central Sterile best practices,
and Instrument Asset Management. He holds advance
membership status in the ASHMMP and is a member
of IAHMMP and AAMI. He is an affiliate member
of the American Society of Hospital Central Sterile
Personnel through the American Hospital Association.

| Joseph
H. Muraski |
MA,
RN, Senior Consultant, Clinical Services
Approved Central Services Technical Course Instructor
Mr. Muraski possesses over twenty-six years of
experience in healthcare as a senior level professional
with an extensive background in Central Sterile
Processing, including physical and operational
redesign and development of orientation, employee
education and quality assurance programs. He has
served in Interim Management Roles, and in education
and training roles in both Central Sterile and
OR positions. He has served as a Regional Manager
of Sterile Processing for five separate hospitals,
managing a staff of 48 employees and servicing
40 operating suites for a large Midwestern Healthcare
system. Mr. Muraski has extensive experience in
nursing in the areas of critical care, including
medical, surgical and coronary care units. He
has a Master’s degree in Hospital Administration
Services from the College of St. Francis, and
received his RN from Missouri Baptist Hospital
School of Nursing. |

Siegle |

Specialist
Approved Central Services Technical Course Instructor
Mr. Siegle is an operational expert in the area
of Central Sterile Processing. His hands-on knowledge
of Central Sterile and Materials Management within
hospital systems has provided him with the expertise
to analyze processes within these environments,
and to recommend and implement best practices. Mr.
Siegle additionally brings superior management skills,
technical skills in systems implementations and
the ability to communicate across organizational
levels and departments. He is a certified Censitrac
Specialist, with an in-depth understanding of the
role technology plays in Instrument Asset Management
optimization strategies. Mr. Siegle has attended
Wayne State University, with studies in Biological
Sciences, Chemistry and Physics. He is certified
by IAHCSMM. |

Paulsen |

Specialist
Approved Central Services Technical Course Instructor
Ms. Paulsen has almost twenty years experience in
Healthcare with a particular emphasis in the area
of Central Sterile Processing. Her hands-on knowledge
of Central Sterile, Clinical Supply Chain and Surgical
Services in the hospital environment has provided
her with the expertise to analyze processes within
these environments, to recommend and implement best
practices. Her understanding of OR Supply Chain
processes and their role in risk management and
cost management brings added value to her clients.
Ms. Paulsen additionally brings superior management
skills, facilities design and renovation and the
ability to improve operating efficiency of the Sterile
Processing Department. Ms. Paulsen has achieved
Sterile Processing Certification from Purdue University,
is certified as a CRCST with IAHCSMM and has a Certificate
in Advanced Medical Terminology from Franklin Medical
Center. |
