West Orange, New Jersey - Implementation
Specialists for Healthcare, (ISH) today announced
the opening of a new Central Sterile Processing
Department at the second largest Hospital in the
country, Jackson Memorial Hospital (JMH) Miami,
Florida, a 1500-bed facility with 6 sites.
"We are proud to have been so intimately
involved in creating this state of the art CSS
facility. We provide the leadership, guidance
and 'hands-on' support through all stages of strategic
planning, facilities design and implementation.
This project was enormous because it involved
all aspects of consolidating, centralizing and
standardizing instrument processing, case cart
and clinical management. The success of this endeavor
can be attributed to our team's skills and knowledge
and the tremendous backing and support of JMH's
Administration. We are providing interim management
services, training and education to bring all
JMH Associates up to speed with such facility"
stated Carol Reilly, Vice President / Partner
Clinical Practice.
When asked how she felt about the newly constructed
Sterile Processing Department, Judy A. Ford, Chief
Administrative Officer of Jackson Memorial Hospital
stated "Without ISH's expertise and dedication,
our new Sterile Processing Department would have
never happened. They are a remarkable group of
people."
