ISH ANNOUNCES JUMPSTART
PROGRAM FOR ACUITY BASED CHARGING
Establishes realistic and maintainable strategies
for improved revenue capture based on patient acuity |
| FAIRFIELD, NJ: ISH, Inc. announced today
the launch of a strategic program to help healthcare organizations
realize increased revenue capture by leveraging time acuity
based patient charging methodology. Within 60 days, our
Perioperative Revenue Cycle experts can have you up and
live with a strategy that will increase revenue capture
in your OR. Healthcare organizations are challenged
by mandated regulatory changes in how services can be
billed from the government and private payers, reducing
revenue in a time of rising costs. There has been a
continual reduction of reimbursement by CMS and third
party payers over the last ten years. Operating rooms
can no longer charge for items that are considered to
be “routine supplies” for a procedure such
as gloves, gowns, drapes, etc.
That, coupled with the fact that hospitals are seeing
an increased volume of sicker patients requiring more
