Dear
Mr. Uliano:
Being
in medical management for over two decades, I
have certainly had ample opportunities to work
with many consulting groups. I have absolutely
no hesitation in stating that my experience with
Implementation Specialists in Healthcare was far
and away the best.
They
were unique. Their initial analysis was not only
of numbers but they went to great lengths to understand
the culture of the institution. When it came time
to implement their recommendations, they understood
not only what needed to be done but also how to
accomplish it at our institution.
The
implementation phase of the project was also a
very different consulting experience. They truly
worked side by side with us. I quickly stopped
viewing them as consultants and they became simply
fellow staff.
Their
work with us was extensive. An OR information
system was chosen and implemented. A case cart
system was initiated. The management and operation
of the OR was analyzed and modified.
They
deftly navigated a very difficult management environment,
having to work through a major change in hospital
leadership. During their engagement a second consulting
group arrived and created a significant overlap.
However, they were able to keep their focus and
stay on target.
Virtually
every individual working on the project was an
experienced and knowledgeable professional. They
were also, very simple, nice people and a pleasure
to work with. Even though there were some ISH
personnel changes during the project, the transitions
were seamless.
I
highly recommend them and would welcome the opportunity
to work with them again.
Sincerely,
Kenneth Freese, M.D.
