Dear Ms. Reilly,
I would like to take this opportunity to express
to you in writing my commendation of Donna Hale
for the professional skills and attributes she
exemplified while serving as the Interim Director
of Surgical and Endoscopy Services for Coffee
Health Group at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital.
I worked with Mrs. Hale from October 1, 2002 through
July 16, 2003, during which time I had the opportunity
to observe her interpersonal and conflick management
skills as she strove to institute a level of professionalism
that the hospital's operating room has long been
lacking. Mrs. Hale's commitment to supervise and
assess the operational activities of the Surgical
and Endoscopy Services Department at ECM Hospital
on behalf of ISH, Inc. not only demonstrates her
personal endeavors to contribute to the quality
of health care nation wide, but also relays her
dedication to utilizing her personal assets where
they are most beneficial in her field. As acting
Director of Surgery, Mr.s Hale was responsible
for managing a number of areas, which included
the Operating Room, Cardiac Operating Room, OR
Sterile Processing, Anesthesia, Post Anesthesia
Care, Endoscopy, Pre-Adminission Testing, and
Ambulatory Surgery. She managed these units with
the highest level of organization and provided
them with much needed professional representation
on an administrative level. Mrs. Hope's fresh
perspective and insight was most beneficial in
helping management and staff discover the most
effective redesign processes for their respective
units. Her excellent command of the tenets of
supply chain management provided the Surgical
and Endoscopy Services Department with the much
needed tools for financial cost analysis that
will no doubt lead the department as well as hospital
intro the most effective practices for financial
viability in the years to come.
I sincerely appreciate this opportunity to share
with you my continued respect and esteem for Mrs.
Hale and her worthy contributions to our hospital.
