As you know, on December 27, 1998, Sibley Memorial Hospital implemented Phase I of the Lawson software package, which included Payroll, Human Resources, and General Ledger. Last week we ran the first paychecks from the new system and there were no major problems. In fact, this has been one of the smoothest installs in recent memory.

Your capable staff from ISH deserves a lot of credit. As a client we had Y2K time constraints and a loosely organized team. They quickly organized our resources and added considerably with their application knowledge and implementation experience. This knowledge saved us from time-wasting mistakes and helped us set-up the systems quickly and correctly.

Susan Casey, ISH's Payroll/HR expert, was an outstanding resource, as was Dennis Myers, for General Ledger. Both worked well with Sibley staff to provide excellent training and documentation. They quickly learned our business practices and helped us incorporated those practices into the Lawson system. Where process change was needed to use the system more efficiently, they made recommendations and assisted in the implementation.

The ISH staff was knowledgeable, professional, and a pleasure with which to work. We look forward to the Material Management Suite implementation. I am confident that with ISH's help we will experience the same level of success. Please accept my thanks and pass my congratulations on to Susan and Dennis for a job well done.
